I remember that cartoon. That must've been a lot of work put into one week.

What would you say was the most tiring part when you made the cartoon?

The most tiring part revolved around file corruption issues.
I don't know what caused it to happen, but in order to edit it, I had to import the raw animation footage into Final Cut and then export it with no editing.
Had I not done this, re-timing ANY THING would've caused one single frame to cause some shit, and me having to re-attempt exporting from the start. It never worked, it told me the key-frame that was corrupted, but it'd always change and Final Cut doesn't have a time bar that tells you what key-frame you're on. So after wasting an all-nighter of sound editing, I exported the entire thing, un-edited. This time I had to redo all the extremely detailed shit I had just done the day before, because of a single frame. Everything went smoother as far as exporting goes, but Final Cut still crashed on me frequently if I had too many sounds on one clip. (The scenes of Pico standing on the cliff have about 8 different individual sounds as well as alterations between sounds, for wind, clothing, hair, and waves.) Every time it crashed, I wouldn't loose everything, but I'd get pissed, as it interrupted my work-flow. Things also took hours to render... theirs a reason I bought a new computer.

Is John Kricfalusi a big influence on you?

Yes, although I hate that my style looks too much like his and I'm attempting to break away from it...at a very slow comfortable pace.

well, your movies are good, so i am very happy that you will do more parodies/movies in general.
what else do you have in plan, flash-wise?

I have some other dramatic stuff in mind, and this one long project I'll hopefully be able to bring to reality. I'm not gonna say any more about that one until I'm at least starting to animate it.
Also, glad you like my stuff man, parodies are what I'm gonna keep doing for awhile, just to hone in on and improve my skills.
