If your dissapointed that this isn't an animation, have no fear. I'm working on a fairly long, fully animated cartoon. I'm using the cel shaded look you see in the still in this cartoon. This was just an improv idea I thought was funny and animated.

EDIT: actually, I'd like to ask, whats everyone's thoughts on the cel-shading? I want tips so as I can improve upon it.

Currently I'm in the middle of working on the second episode of Anime Amigos. I'm also out of school now, so hopefully production on that will move swiftly. Hell, last summer I finished cartoons within two or three weeks, simply due to an abundance of time.

I also have my basic distractions, video games and shit. Right now I'm working my way through the traffic cases of L.A. Noire. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I also watched Akira...holy fuck.

Anyway, so onto the subject of the post, I've decided to do a QandA type thing. If you have a question to ask me, ask it. If your don't, thats cool, I might do another one of these in the future, simply because I like answering questions. Ask away.

      I'm honestly just bored right now and therefore decided to do a status update for anyone who actually gives a damn.

First of all, I won the first prize for "Pico Day," with my cartoon: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/638237 which is pretty kick-ass, to say the least. I also have completely upgraded my computer set-up from an OSX lap-top to a Cyberpower Custom Gaming PC, with the biggest monitor I could find.

I am currently working on Anime Amigos Episode 2. I had initially intended for Anime Amigos to be 2 or at most 3 episodes, but now I actually have a lot of ideas for them. I hope starting this episode, I'll start using the ever so sexy looking cell-shading. Also, I have recently finished the Black Mesa mod for Half-Life and you might be able to expect a short parody based on that. I've also got some basic, sorta funny ideas for an Evangelion parody. Once the summer rolls around and school ends, I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to work and animation, so expect a more frequent upload rate by that time.

So this is probably a good example of why I should learn to budget my time. I literally did ALL the editing and sound mixing today, minutes ago. I spent all week animating and inking it, drew backgrounds all last week, and every other week of April I just...procrastinated. A lot.

I like how a lot of the shots in this came out, I was heavily inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion for many of the angles. I don't really have much else to say now. All I know is, I'm gonna be burned out for a week, considering I busted this out by working late nights non stop for the whole week.

I'm going to bed now, good night.

I promised it and I delivered it. Hopefully, by the 26th, I'll have finished a cute little cartoon, but for now, have this.

First thing I should do, update:

     As of right now, I'm working on two differant projects. One is a Pico Day submission that I MIGHT finish before the deadline. The other is an upcoming sequel to Anime Amigos. I've deicided Newgrounds is gonna start getting all new content first, with youtube trailing behind a bit.

      About a few months ago, I uploaded a fake lets play known as xXXWEEDLORD69420XXx plays FAG-LiFE.

I feel like this is the most underated thing I've ever made. I was inspired by the profit: DarkSydePhil playing Black Mesa as well as anyone who has ever played Call of Duty ever.

I bring this up, as on 420, the climax of Weedlord's odessy shall be released and I REALLY want to hype it up, because I love these things.

Funny Story about this sonavabitch, I hated this while working on it. When I do lip sync, I don't use symbols, I draw every frame. I've considered using them many a time and this project is one of them...so its time to vent.

" I WILL NEVER MAKE ANIMATE A MAIN CHARACTER WITH A BEAK AGAIN!"

Seriously, animating birds is a pain in the ass. I like this now that its kind of set in after it being afew months since its creation. That doesn't change the past though. I may animate birds, but if they talk its not gonna be full sentences and its not gonna be frequent.

I like this short, as its the only reminant of a canned series idea I had. This wouldn't have been plot important, it'd just be a cut away joke.

So yeah, I'm gonna put up another one some time next week and then after that, all the cartoons I put out will be new...they also won't be out on a weekly basis, because animation takes time and shit.

I finished that fairly recently, but started on it awhile ago. For the next two weeks, I'll be putting up one of my older cartoons once a week. After those, I'll only be submitting content, after I finish new content...which can take up to 6 months.
